Recently, I found a link to create comics with pictures, but it was expensive! I was convinced that I could find a free program that did the same thing. Enter: BeFunky.com! You can add captions to different pictures including using a webcam. You also do not need to register. Since students love taking pictures of themselves, it combines that into Spanish class. The link that I found had students using different pictures to write different types of sentences.
This could be used to have students use vocabulary for a homework assignment or warm-up activity. It would also be great to use after reading a selection or novel. It would also be a good follow-up activity to a listening selection. They could summarize a podcast in a few scenes.
