Brillante Viernes: October 18, 2013

Happy Friday!  On Twitter, there were some excellent listening websites posted this week.  Hopefully, you can use them to find what you need.  Earlier, I wrote about how to use listening activities in your classroom.

1.  Sra. Birch found this website which has over 800 commercials in Spanish.  You can also search by topic.

2.  Noah Geisel shared his links for listening practice as well.

3.  I couldn’t find the original link, but on Pinterest, there is a great poem using colors.

4.  One of my favorite games in Chaos.  I used it during an observation, and it went really well!  However, with dice, many times they end up falling off the desk/getting lost/making lots of noise etc.  These dice shakers are great!  I would recommend doing some bottles with one die and some with two dice.  You can buy packs of ten dice at the Dollar Store.  I will definitely make these this summer!
