Another warm-up that the students like is the magic square. The students match the words and either pictures or a translation. Once they have filled out the square, each row and column should add up to the same “magic number.” This is also perfect because we do not have to review the activity; the students can check their own work. I am attaching a magic square that I used today. I am doing a “city unit,” and I am using the words from the National Spanish Exam. Enjoy!
